Pandora's music box the first ever game I've worked on. I was in my 5th month of school at Full Sail when I participated in the Game Jam; and I was lucky enough to have a team that was very patient and supporting of a student who knew next to nothing at that time.

While I didn't know much about game design, I was able to provide my team with skills I already had. Since I'd never taken a class and vaguely had knowledge on C#, I helped my team in artistic manners. Both the Main and Pause menus were crafted by myself. The buttons on the menus were initially designed to have a cryptic alien language, and when the mouse hovers over the button, the English form would arise (Not able to be pictured here). Also, since I had just learned a bit about modeling in Maya, I created an assortment of assets required for the game. The boom box (pictured above) being one, as well as doors (both usable and barred off), and a variety of other small decorations.

I may have not been able to provide my team with the help I could provide them now; but I was still able to learn the valuable lessons of working with a team in a very stressful environment. Considering we only had 48 hours to produce a working, and hopefully, decent game; I saw what it was like to work in a crunch. I also learned how to work with a big group of people with a large amount of ideas. Before this, I didn't realize how valuable it was to be able to have patience and understanding when working with others - and how valuable making multiple builds and using source control was.

The video below is a short game play demo of the build on the Game Jam website :here:
